Perfect Brown Rice in ANY Rice Cooker

Ingredients

  • 3 rice measuring cups of brown rice
  • 4.5 rice measuring cups of water

Directions

  1. Measure 3 level rice cups of brown rice and add to inner pot.
  2. Fill pot with cold water, swish gently, drain water, then add 4.5 rice measuring cups of water (1.5 water to 1 rice ratio).
  3. Place inner pot into rice cooker and close the lid. Digital rice cooker: select BROWN RICE or MULTIGRAIN. Pot-style rice cooker: press COOK.
  4. When cycle is complete, fluff and serve. Brown rice will 2x in size during the cooking process.
